Important: Do not pick up hitch-hikers or stop for a vehicle which seems in distress. Telephone the police when the opportunity arises.

Airport Distances

Cape Town International Airport, (Tel. (021) 937 1200): This airport is located approximately 15 minutes (20 kilometers) from central Cape Town / The Capetonian. Book a shuttle with hotel-airport transfers, or use the metered taxis. Please budget for at least R 175 for a Taxi from the airport to the hotel.

All major car hire companies are represented at Cape Town International Airport. Advance bookings are recommended

Directions to the hotel (from the airport)

Take the N2 highway all the way into Cape Town city centre. Exit the N2 at its end; at the V & A Waterfront intersection. Turn left and carry on straight till a round-about is reached. Go all the way round so that you now drive back in the direction from which you approached the round-about and take the first left into the Capetonian private car park at Roggebaai Square.
